Slime Witch
Slime witch is an idle / virtual pet simulation game made for Virtual Pet Jam.
As always, DOWNLOADING TO PLAY IS RECOMMENDED FOR BEST PERFORMANCE.
Use your mouse to interact with your slimes and the environment. Click on the mana orbs to collect them, you can also click on an empty area and drag over the mana orbs to collect multiple.
"ESC" to bring up the pause menu.
"TAB" to bring out the developer console.
For jam participants and streamers, if you would like to skip ahead, you can use the code "showcase" (without quotes) in the developer console.
Saving/loading is not tested on the browser, may not work.
Detailed gameplay instructions can be accessed inside the game.
Development will most likely continue after the jam.

I don't understand the point of the game...
really great game! although how do you use the dev console? and how can you get rid of slimes?

You can bring the developer console up by pressing tab. Currently there aren't any commands other than "showcase" which replaces your slimes with special slimes, unlocks all upgrades and gives you a lot of mana. To use the command type it into the input field in the developer console and press enter. Press tab again to take the console down.
You can get rid of slimes by;
A) Combining two into one with the cauldron.
B) Feeding them to the devourer.
C) Or simply neglecting them until they are taken away.

Yeah it is an option but I don't recommend that option! Always be nice to your slimes!
